This is always the issue. I have had to update or renew the developer certificate (a weekly deal) about 7 times since I've been using this hack. I've had to start from scratch each time because it hangs at 95%. Supposedly, it's because you craft an item that is either not available at your level, or craft an item that is uncraftable with the current version (aka the Glock). I've been trying this time around to be careful about what I craft this time around. I'm anxiously awaiting 1.7.3 to be released here so I can see if it works or not. Regardless, I'm still having some fun with seeing how far I can get in this game before I'm forced to start at lvl 1 again. I suppose if I ever get a chopper built, that will be another story. I'd hate starting over at that point. I'd probably just stop playing at that point.

Sorry...didn't see this post until now. I'm probably too late, but the answer is no. Cydia Impactor and Cydia are two different things. You install Cydia after you jailbreak in order to get and install tweaks. Cydia Impactor is what allows you to "side load" tweaks with a device that isn't jailbroken. So using the Impactor will not jailbreak your phone.

You can't download the game from tu tu. You have to download it from the first page of this thread and use Impactor. Just follow the directions on the first page.

Don't know what the issue is for you. The instructions are pretty self explanatory. Maybe this 1.7.2 ipa isn't good any more, since it's ruining so many people's progress? In any case, I recommend waiting until 1.7.3 comes out. Just my opinion.

At this point, you don't. The 1.7.2 update broke the game for at least half of the players. The app dev says not to install 1.7.2 and wait for 1.7.3

That would be handy to know. Wonder if it has to do with the "save as file" button...but that's listed under Video Recording. I'll try and research it a bit.

Not sure what you're talking about buddy. When I've had to reinstall the game (either a new version or my 7 days ran out), I'm presented with the option to recover game progress. When I try to recover my previous progress, it hangs on the loading screen. Nothing I can do except delete and reinstall it and start a fresh game. Are you saying there's a work around for this?

I have it connected to my Game Center, but it just gets stuck on the loading screen. I've read it's because of the reasons I listed.

So thankful for this great hack. Makes the game so much more fun. I've had to update three different times, and had to start from scratch (level 1) each time. This is due to my crafting items that are beyond my level or items that are uncraftable in the game (like the AK47 and M16). This time around I've been careful not to craft above my level or craft what is normally uncraftable. My strategy has been to visit the three enemy bases right off the bat and find my steaks, water, clothing items and guns. Then I hit the XP booster until I have a pass for bunker A and enough green, yellow and red tickets to open the crates. There I find the SWAT armor, AK, M16, shotgun and everything else I need. Just sharing my thoughts and strategy in hopes it helps. Now I need to wait for the next update (or my developer account to expire in a week) to see I can continue with my progress or start from scratch again.

Has anyone been able to update and still keep their progress? With the 7.0 update this past weekend, I had to start from scratch again because it just got hung up on the loading screen when I tried to restore.

This works, but had to start from scratch at level 1. It would hang on the loading screen every time I tried to restore my previous progress. Awesome hack though!

I've been playing this hacked version for a few days now and worked really well. The unbreakable weapons and armor and crafting without having all of the supplies is awesome. Oh, and the ability to duplicate items is huge as well. Now version 1.7 just came out, rendering this one obsolete. Can't play the game at all until this one gets updated. Hopefully they will hack it soon, but until then, we will just have to be patient and go without playing.
