Yes. Once you unlock the watchtower you can gain access to the frozen zone and the 2 new wood areas. Make a few iron axes and pick axe so you can get the new trees and the metal deposits. It's a rare drop from the ore deposits. 5 ore = one bar.

Keep at it. I spent an hour opening over 600 boxes to get the gas tank and the connecting rods. I feel your pain.

I used the app on my tablet and installed the one that lets you buy stuff from the store free, took me about 300 boxes but i got it. I kept buying them after that because i needed connecting rods for the acid bath. Saved me farming. This cheat has spoiled me for playing the game fair. Cant play without it now. Thanks for the update!!
