Since the whole riddle is a statement, you declare the fifth's kid name when you say "What is the name of the fifth kid."
There is no question mark at the end and the fact that there is no question in the whole riddle, it means that its a statement. It could be anything, for example "Jim (instead of What) is the name of the fifth kid"
