So a few things that may be happing one what error do u get when your try to follow? Second how many followers dose each account have? Instagram caps at 7000-7400 third could be that you need to actually log in I to ur ig account and do a captha after liking a pic Inorder to follow more and forth if your account has a orange exclamation point resolve it by making a fake Google account to dispose and confirme your ig account Also try to delete the app remove the hack and follow the regular way see if that helps
