As Amuyea stated size is just too big you want to keep it rectangular shaped. My opinion it's really not bad at all other than the size would work on lighting source and focus also. You want people to focus on the main source and not the background.the background is a little to dark and stale try adding some color to lively it up. Other than that keep at it

As everyone stated too much red and in my opinion I would keep the apple and get rid of the boxes you have and also I would change the font it's too bold making the piece look heavy that is just my opinion
