Help/Support "nothing downloaded at this time" loop!

happens in the actual sideloadly app after clicking start -
i've done absolutely everything. watched several tutorials, read through the FAQ. my phone shows up in sideloadly, i have itunes installed, i trusted my device (phone), yet i cannot download anything. i feel stupid. any help?
