  1. That'd be awesome! Thanks for the hack
  2. Keep up the awesome work! Thank you for working hard to keep this updated and functional. Respect
  3. Okay thank you, I'm sure that's the case then. Offsets change even with small adjustments to the code, right? I'm still curious about my original question though. I've been reading and the Bundle ID gets made when the app is signed. So it's possible I would need to resign the app with a different application name?
  4. I'm able to install it without issues. I just can't change the system name (is it called binary name?) for the application. I can change the icon name with a tweak, change the names in the Info.plist, but the Settings menu and Filza both still show a different name. I'm trying to locate where this is stored so Xmod will recognize it and install the mod and dylib for it.
  5. Yeah it's a hacked IPA. The developer of the mod changed the application name the system uses, so Xmod doesn't recognize it.
  6. I'm trying to load a modified game client (that has a different name than vanilla client) into XMod so that it recognizes it as a game they have a mod for. I was thinking this would be the easiest way to do it since I can't seem to tell the xmod client to target it as it doesn't recognize the name.
  7. The main name being the name for the app that would be displayed in system settings or Filza? If that's the case, the app I'm trying to change the name for somehow doesn't use the Info.plist for this. The CFBundleName (and all other strings in Info.plist) does not match the name used by Filza. I checked every plist file in the folder, including both app locations in the Bundle and Data directories. I checked the .ipa and couldn't find a second Info.plist. Does the one that gets deleted contain the name the system/Filza uses?
  8. By bundle ID do you mean the string stored in the info.plist? Because that doesn't match. Do you mean the sequence of numbers/letters that make up the folder name?
  9. Info.plist bundle name does not match this(and I've also checked through all other strings in the file)
  10. Where does filza pull the app name from? That's what I'm trying to change, the name that it's reading. I didn't know if there were any buried plists or metadata files that the system used to read the app name. Sorry for the confusionEdit: the bundle display name in the info.plist does not match the app name in system settings
  11. I'm trying to change the stored application name that other apps read. I'm not referring to the "icon" name, but rather the "metadata" name that is used throughout the system to know what to call the application. Programs like Filza and XModGames read this value from somewhere, and I haven't found any information on how to change this. Is the process different for every app? None of the strings in the Info.plist file seem to handle this name.
  12. Amuyea: Is it possible to make a field in the settings menu so we can input custom values for crit damage rather than max? I feel it could be safer to manually tweak the settings so we aren't dealing excessive damage. Unless you're pulling the value from some static variable/register?
  13. Thanks! I'm checking out some tutorials. How did you crack the app so you could load the asm in ida? Any resources/guides or books you read?
