Just don't put high arena spheres on your leaders and you should be fine. Haven't had any problems with item injecting on my accounts

For now, you'll have to run metal parades or the starter dungeon lv 1. its a guarantee 1 random crystal each run (for now. don't know if this is intentional or not) And you can chance getting imps in lv 2, but they don't always appear, and when they do, it's not a guarantee capture.
