I have the same problem. Doesn't show up in the gym but when I tap where you said it begins the lift but doesn't complete it. Also I have been stuck on the parachute portion of the learn to fly mission for a long time. It never acknowledges completion even after landing. Also I'm on iOS 12.1.2 Same bug on iOS 12.1.2. It shows the controls as a weapon. I can post a screen vid if it would be helpful.

I'm having the same problems. Crane does not work with analog or button controls. Also I am stuck on the learn to fly mission, specifically the parachute portion. When I land, the clock does not stop. I've tried switching the controls and going to the police station to take away my other parachute but nothing makes this mission work.
