Hi 👋🏻 to the local community,
I want to jailbreak my school iPad because of all the cool benefits of downloading apps without doing it from the App Store. But, I don’t know the risk of jailbreaking and want to know more about jailbreaking and what it does. I have an iOS iPad Air 2. My iOS version is 13.4 (I know that isn’t jailbreakable at the moment, but I want some tips). One of the main reasons I want to download is because of downloading apps for free, such as Simply Piano and having an alternative App Store other than Apple.
But, I am not an expert at jailbreaking and need someone more knowledgeable on the topic to tell me more on jailbreaking and what risk it does to my iPad. Technically I have payed fully for my iPad now and full responsibility over it, but I am not sure what it will do. Can anyone here tell me?
And also I am confused at the amount of versions and different ways there are at jailbreaking such as unc0ver jailbreak and check1rn jailbreak, and others. I would like a full sort of talk about it and what it does, if so, this would be really helpful.
Also, does jailbreaking have updates? E.g. when you go into settings and click software update, does it include updates? Can you still download apps from the App Store?
Thanks,
Regards,
Nicholas
