Hahaha it’s on a different device that was given to me and the person said that he got cydia from the official site and paid? I’m guessing that’s how he got the tweaks and stuff. Just asking tho bc I don’t dwell too much in this stuff

Jailbreak is Free you don't need to pay anything to get jailbreak and cydia, like I said you just got scam

He paid for a Cydia look-alike, but in no way is the real Cydia. I doubt that you can do anything with that thing, you need deeper access to your iOS device to use Cydia and tweaks.

Since the device was given, I am assuming it is an older device and not the newer iPhone models for example

If you have iOS v12.4.0 installed or anything below, look for Unc0ver jailbreak or a few other options.

if it is 12.4.1 or above, you can use Checkra1n (only supports Mac OS and Linux for now)

You can always install a Linux OS on your computer and jailbreak with it, which is what I did for mine.
