1. You need to have the cheat source code in order to update the IPA to latest yourself. In your case if you want to have updated games version, ask the modder / cheater who uploaded that IPA to update 2. If you use Sideloadly to install you won't lose any progress, just simply reinstall the ipa with latest version and it will overwrite, as long as the old ipa you also used Sideloadly (with same apple account)
