Try downgrading to the version the cheat supported with Appstore++, you can see the version in the deb filename I will see if I can update this soon, for now use the method above

Device below A12 can use substrate with checkra1n, u0 use subtitute which is completely trash. You can transfer but you may end up f*** up your device and losing jb

Are you sure it crash? Or is it freeze? Because it will freeze for few sec when the cheat is auto updating in the background, just wait for it unfreeze
