It's the sad reality of some stupid cultures. I find most of mine to be useless and done for showing off The thing is, you really can't find the right person in this life. You can find someone compatible but no doubt, there will be something in her you will dislike, and I guess not everyone can accept that, so they opt to divorce and see it as the way out from situations that seem childish. From what I've been told, that's a rising case in newly weds, they divorce after a year or so because of some small issues. One part to blame is the normalization of gf/bf thing cos those encourage you to jump from one person to another, and marriage means contract and if you are used to jumping from one women to another, you get bored of one woman and u desire another so on. That's just one aspect of course. Also, some people don't divorce even if their husband is abusive, and that is mostly due to culture. Cos when a women divorces, not widowed, she is seemed as bad or smth, culturally ofcourse.

I agree but if you have a family and you would probably think it is wiser to spend time with them instead I think as we get older, the process of making friends gets tiring It's awkward and too tiring imo I have to add that some friendships come naturally as you said since we're established, we already know what we like and don't so we are picky when it comes to humans too

If you have noticed, as you get older, it becomes more difficult to make friends, rather you have colleagues whom you share common space with, and if you leave that space, you don't talk to them as often, or even at all. I would like to hear your guys opinion on why that is? I personally believe in order to be friends, close ones that is, you need to spend time with them when it is not a necessity. What I mean is, if you hangout with them when you're not at work/school, invite them to your house, etc. you create a personal bond, which in result creates a relationship that is not tied to only one entity such as your work/school. Thus, if you made these kind of friends when you were younger, you find it easier to talk to them anytime.
