Can someone give an insight on what type of encryption does Unity use on some games like NarutoXBuroto and Princess Connect: Re Dive on android? Those games contain odd hex values. The only instructions that you can see on NarutoXBuroto' libil2cpp.so is ANDEQ R0, R0, R0. While PC redive contails mostly a 0 value.

but watchpoint triggers as long as theres a changes on that address. watchpoint and breakpoint are different thing

modify it using memory editor? im sure your watchpoint hits as long as there is changes made

Let me give you an example to make you understand the difference between ios's jailbreak and android's root, imagine a apple tree, what you can see is the wonderful apple tree, and the apples in it, say you need to get an apple from that tree, but you cant throw a stone nor climb the tree to get that apple, so in order to get the apple you take a ladder and place it on the tree, you then climb and get the apple. Thats exactly what android rooting is, you just take a ladder and get the apple for yourself... you just root the phone and it gives you access to your os files and datas

But in the case of ios, you dig the roots of the tree and make some modifications to the root of that tree so that the apple doesnt get grown on top of that tree or make the apple fell down immediately when its fully grown such modification is ofc fun to do and that's what jaibreaking is... this is not easy if people make a mistake or do something wrong...then u know what'll happen next

it shows 64bit isnt supported. Try 32bit older version of itunes

Install older version of itunes. The error already shows you how to fix it

Not sure on how they did it. But based on their cheat on Fire Emblem Heroes it seems like they didnt modify the binary but instead they "hooked" their cheat on the binary. Modifying the binary changes the checksum. Invalid checksum means the game will crash or something pops out on the screen then quit. I have bypassed the anti-tamper they put on FEH so i think i can bypass the anti tamper they put on NxB since all anti tamper on mobile games work the same. Was trying to do it but my focus was the mod for FEH. Will try to look into it tho.

I NOPed the called function in the calling function. Also BX LRed the beginning of the called function.

If you NOP the branch going to that function then it will disable it for one xref only. If you BX LR the whole function then it will disable it entirely from any other places the function was called. The branches will simply lead to a BX LR and do nothing.

NOPing the function being called crashes the game  while BX LRing that function doesnt crash it

Guys thanks to every single one of you for your help. But everyone was arguing lol, let me get this straight. I extracted the zip file before doing anything, also with the original method i did in which i added to .zip and replaced with .apk, zip signer did not work, i tried also other signing mods inside the app. So from what i read here i have to decompile and compile the csharp with apktool and then sign it with zip signer? I remember apk tool had some signing options too. Sorry if i sound noob i have no idea how to use apk tool, only reflector and reflexiv. Also one more problem. When i finish modifying csharp, i save it and when i open it, most functions give the error "ambigous match found". Whats the workaround for this? There are no .dlls with the exact name. Download and install ADB on your pc. Download apktool then copy its files into ADB directory. Put the apk you want to mod into ADB directory. Open command prompt on the directory by pressing Shift + right click then type this commands:

For decompiling - apktool d -f -r nameoftheapp.apk

For recompiling - apktool b nameofthefolder

For signing - just use zipsigner on your device

@0utlaw_ Bro, Put all dlls into reflector not only the csharp, after modifying replace it with the old csharp..rename it you did all that right, unfortunately oneclick signer is not signing properly anymore, find some other apk signer and sign it... you can use zip signer but not after signing it from one click signer...

So whats wrong in doing it? Jeezzz dont be an smartass. If he wants to really avoid this kind of issue why cant he use the proper way of decompiling, recompiling and signing it?

You cant do that. You need to decompile and compile it using apktool
