    How is everything free?. iPhone X user here, everything still costs gold to build..."instant" upgrades require 1 gem. The only thing free for me are fast forwarding upgrades such as troops in the que. Any fix or is this is what I'm getting?

    It happened to me, you've just gotta restart the game again - delete the game and reinstall it. The game sees the item you're holding and freaks out because it doesn't know what it is. Sorry bud, but that's the only solution I have found to fix that issue.
