  1. Greetings Alyssa, I wanted to reach out about a couple of apps whenever you have the time, but before I even get into that, I wanted to say something first. I know you probably get more update requests than you can count, and I can imagine how exhausting it gets when people start treating an update like something they’re owed instead of remembering there’s an actual person behind all of this work.

I don’t want to be another person showing up just to complain that something hasn’t been updated yet. I genuinely appreciate what you do for this community and the amount of time you’ve already put into keeping these apps alive, working, and available for people who otherwise wouldn’t have them. If something takes time, it takes time. If something isn’t possible anymore, I understand that too. I’d rather support the work you’re able to do than make you feel pressured over something you’re doing for everybody else.

I do have a couple of apps I wanted to ask you about whenever you get a chance, but there’s absolutely no rush from me. I mainly wanted you to know that your work is appreciated, Alyssa. I know people can be loud when they want something fixed, but the people who are grateful don’t always speak nearly as loudly. I wanted to be one of the ones who actually says thank you.

  2. Greetings Cash, I wanted to reach out to you about a few possible updates for some of your games and apps when you have the time. I know you stay extremely busy keeping so many different projects working, updated, and available for everyone, and I can only imagine how much time and effort that takes behind the scenes.

Before I even get into the requests, I really wanted to say thank you for everything you do for the modding community. A lot of us get to enjoy these apps and features because people like you are willing to keep working on them long after most people would have moved on. Your work is noticed, appreciated, and it genuinely makes a difference to people who use these mods every day. I never want an update request to come across like I expect anything from you, because I know you already give a lot of your time to this community. I just wanted you to know that the work you put in is valued, Cash, and I really appreciate you for continuing to do it.

Thank you for your kind words. Which game is not updated?

Greetings Cash, and thank you for getting back to me. The game I was mainly asking about right now is Gangster Universe. I came across it and it kind of reminds me of Big Time Gangster, so I wanted to check it out and see what it’s like with the mod.

I’ve also been trying to understand how you guys decide which games stay in rotation. I’m guessing if a game hasn’t been touched in six months, eight months, a year or longer, sometimes it’s simply because nobody in the community is asking for it anymore. Then you have games like XP Heroes where people are still actively playing it and letting you know when updates come out, so naturally those games stay higher on the list. If that’s how it works, it actually makes a lot of sense. It also means we as the community have some responsibility to let you guys know what we’re still playing instead of assuming you automatically know which old mods people still care about.

And I have to give you credit for Aniimo too. I genuinely didn’t expect to see that one modded already because it’s so new. When I saw you had done it I was like, okay Cash 🙂. I’m definitely going to check that one out, and hopefully it becomes one of those games that enough people enjoy that you’re able to keep working on it as updates come out.

I reached out to Alyssa too because there are a few of her games I wanted to ask about. I know she’s busy and has her own projects and people constantly asking her for things, so I’m just waiting patiently until she gets around to me. I don’t know how closely you two work together, so I don’t want to put you in the middle of anything. I’m mainly trying to learn whether I can bring certain requests to you too, or whether you guys generally stick to the games each modder originally works on.

There are also some older modded games I loved that are getting eight, nine, even ten years old now. Some of those games were genuinely great, but the original modders either stopped updating them or moved on. I’ve wondered whether something like that can be brought to another modder like you and updated again, or whether that’s considered stepping on somebody else’s work. I don’t want to disrespect another modder or take something from somebody who originally created it. I’d rather ask and understand how that works before I start throwing old games at you.

I’m really just trying to make my requests easier for you guys to deal with. I know you have jobs, real life, new games coming out, existing games needing updates, and probably a pile of requests most of us never even see. I don’t want to overwhelm you with ten things somebody else already asked for. If there’s a particular way you prefer people to request games or keep you informed when something needs an update, let me know and I’ll follow that.

And just so you know, when I’m appreciative toward you guys, I genuinely mean it. Sometimes I probably write more than most people do because I actually think about the person doing the work instead of only thinking about the download. I know you don’t owe me an update just because I ask for one. I appreciate you answering me and everything you’ve already put out for the community.

So for now, Gangster Universe is the main one I wanted to put on your radar. And whenever you have a minute, I’d definitely like to know how you personally handle requests and decide what stays in your update rotation.

  3. Any chance Flow for Messenger can get an update to a newer Messenger version? The current build is pretty outdated now. Flow is still one of my favorite Messenger tweaks, so I’d definitely appreciate a newer compatible build if possible. Thanks.
