General The must "react" to view content in posts is a flawed system
teek15 replied to teek15's topic in General Talk
Exactly, that's my main emphasis on the thread - we lose (potentially) valuable information, or questions that one may have on a post. I went through some posts and sure enough there are tonnes of replies along the lines of: "<smashing keyboard such as ahdhfadshfhdsaf>" , "<some random letter>", "Hi", "Nice", and other nonsense replies. I am not going to lose my mind over this, I can live with this but I thought I would put my two cents, and to see what others think of this. -
Don't use it then....

99% of posts I have come across so far force me to "react" to the post before actually being able to view alot of the post's content. How does this make any sense? How can I react on something I havn't been able to view yet ? I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea but this makes any reaction completely pointless because most people aren't reacting to how they actually feel about the post, they're reacting just to see the post. Just my two cents.. have not seen this type of system on too many forums, with exception of having to be registered to view post contents (makes sense).
