  1. Hey, I'm currently trying to reverse engineer the license key generation of an iOS app (it's a sophisticated language app, won't name it here for obvious reasons). The file that contains the data is served from the vendor server as xml. However, a critical portion of it seems to be encrypted. I found the method that you can feed said xml file to. It will return a bool whether or not it's valid and then proceed to activate the app. I have verified that the app does indeed not have any extra server checks and will activate offline if you feed it a valid license file on nJB/JB devices alike. My problem is, I am not very skilled in assembly. I'm able to get the gist of what the method does from IDA pseudo code but that only gets you so far and falls apart at more complicated subroutines. I'd greatly appreciate if somebody who is well skilled could help me out! I can provide the ARM v7 binary I dumped from my old iPhone and of course my research so far. Please DM me if interested. Cheers
