Hey uhmm.. i just wanted to know why do my fallout shelter crash evrytime i load the save file i downloaded here. used i backupbot
restored success and rebooted then after i open my fallout shelter it crashes..

same here if someone could please help i'd really appreciated. the vault 777 did appear but game crash afterward. Please help

Managed to successfully transfer the Fallout Game Save. Maybe he has a few tips.

I am trying to do this on an iPod touch 5th Gen for Fallout Shelter, and have tried multiple times with the directions described, and tips to get this to work. Every time I restore the files for the 2500 Mod, the game will load, but as soon as I try to enter the vault the game crashes. I don't get any errors when restoring the files from the download to the iPod, and I am using the iBackupbot app as indicated.  Any help is appreciated. 
 
 
Update: I uninstalled Fallout, reinstalled via iTunes and played past the tutorial. I did installed mod files, and the game works, but the hack doesn't. When I open the menu there are 0 lunchboxes, after connecting it to wifi, it lets me buy them, but has 0 in inventory. I also noticed that there are more files in the mod than in the game save. I attached screenshots of my iBackupBot directory from a fresh installation/fresh game played just after the tutorial. I have tried just copying the files with the same name already there, all of them and none of this seems to work. Any help is appreciated.

I fixed the problem by doing a fresh install, and ONLY importing/restoring the vault1.sav file. I left everything else as it was, and it worked perfect.

Ok. For those who try to use this trick only to end up having their apps crashing in front of their face, this is what I did for Fallout Shelter. All I did was drag the Vault1.sav files from the document folder and the pref file from the library folder, and initiated a restore. This did it for me.

so what i do now play my tutorial and copy just the sav file and the pref file only?

Heya, well basically what was needed it to follow the tutorials posted but with this exceptions:

 

1. Run game, start a new Vault (or you will be replacing one you already played with)

2. Use iBackupBot and _only_ replace VaultX.sav (x is from 3 different slots of saves you are using. ie: you have 3 vaults, you pick one you are replacing in your backup with hacked one).

3. when restoring, use _blue_ icon of restore. Red one didnt worked at all.
