Mobile MMORPG Discussions(About those rich people)

I really wonder sometimes who are these kinds of people. Retired? Wealthy family? Americans?
I've been playing around 4 MMORPG mobile games and yes all of them are pay to win(Dragon Nest, Fantasy Heroes etc) 

And there's always 2-3 people that rises above everyone and tends to spend 40k$ per month on a mobile mmo, yeah these whales generally keep the game alive but do you guys wonder what kind of people are usually able to afford this kind of luxury?

There was a rumor going around that a lot of the time, the companies themselves will have a few accounts that act as whales to partially get people involved initially or to play to the competitive side of human nature and get people to spend to keep up.

I agree, there are games that are worth investing in. I just now can choose what to do because I have free time. Prior to that, he was applying for college admission.
