Firstly, no tutorials here tell you to REMOVE KEYCHAIN DB FILE...

The only solution is to factory restore it. You messed up the network settings and passwords . Even if you manage to connect to internet, icloud activation won't work.

By the way you could've asked a keychain.db here and replace it. It would have worked .-.

No you can't even the synchronization with itunes is messed up.

Restore from an iTunes Backup if you can.

Yes it will work and a "fail" message will appear ... He needs to factory restore it or maybe try to use data/3/4G to replace a keychain db file.

By the way, if he can't connect to internet its impossible to remove icloud and allow the restoration.
