I would have been able to help you 4 months ago, when I was still active in using IDA.

 

GFX has completely taken over my life, and I barely know how to do MS anymore

U knew 64 bit?

Try setting a breakpoint on the function then do info r or reg re and find out which X register holds the highest value then use that as ur R7
