Update: I find that when I damage enemies, damage appears over me as if I was being attacked. After using ultimate a couple of times, I start to lag, and with enough enemies on me, they bypass god mode and still kill me. It seems that if they lag you and have enough enemies to push damage onto you, god mode will not persist for a split second and they can kill you.

 

This happened with all hacks on and on a quest 1 lvl higher than me.
