Rolectra doesn’t work. I used it to unjailbreak from Electra and when I found that uncover was dead weight I unjailbreaked again and went back to Electra. Then I had error where spring board crashes every time. So I looked for fixed and needed to use Cydia. Then I found out that cydia is broken, any app I try to uninstall it says its needed for cydia or iOS. If u still click uninstall it will give you a bunch of errors and then restart springboard but the stuff will still be there. So I went looking at my tweaks and found that this uncover file is on there and it’s a file for the jailbreak. So I figured that’s causeing the problem because I never had that file before. So I had to rest my phone to remove all those files. I’m going to update to iOS 12 and rejailbreak but now I’m scared to use uncover because it might not work still.

@RyNx_APoLLo I was on ios 11.3.1 Electra. I upgraded to ios 12.1.1 beta 3 Uncover with no issues. iPhone 7 plus

Any steps you perform below for Unjailbreaking or Jailbreaking, there are prerequisite -

Airplane Mode

iCloud Logout Completely

Remove Passcode or TouchId

Turn off Siri Completely

Turn off Location

Remove Recent Apps

Change screen timeout to Never

after above steps are performed and u have installed Rollelctra/Semirestore, you need to shut down phone(not restart or hard reboot).

Turn on the phone now

STEPS -

Open RollElectra, wait for 30seconds on the screen then uncheck Full Restore toggle at bottom and click Unjailbreak. Patience. The phone will restart and it will remove all tweaks but leave cydia icon which is not usable.

After you have unjailbroken successfully the on your computer download rhe relavant ios12.1.1 beta3 ipsw file for your iphone.

Open iTunes and make sure it is updated to the latest version.

Connect your phone and open it with itunes and take a backup on itunes.

Now press Shift and Restore together and choose the ipsw file that you downloaded for your iphone.

iTunes will now restore your phone to factory settings and upgrade to ios12.1.1 beta 3.

Now before you jailbreak on ios12 please restore your phone back with the saved backup you took with itunes.

STEPS to jailbreak ios12 Uncover -

I would ONLY and highly recommended the no computer option to jailbreak.

Download Uncover App from NO ADVERTISING ALLOWED! or iosgods which is pre-signed and does not have a 7 day certificate restriction.

Once the app is installed onyour phone go back to PREREQUISITES(all prerequisites needs to be followed religiously and then shut down mobile)

Turn on your phone.

Open Uncover App and wait 30 seconds.

Click on jailbreak

Note- Uncover ios12 is a three step process in which it might restart after step-2(it will give you popups which you need to click OK) after phone turns back ON, open Uncover App again wait 10-15 seconds and click jailbreak again. It might again ask you to click OK on popup at Step-27. Phone willagain restart and then again go in app and click Jailbreak.

This time the process should complete anda long dialogue box appears after which the phone will respring and youwill have CYDIA .

Patience is the key my friend. Prerequisites help us in saving iphone resources and helps Uncover App to grab all resources the iphone has to offer so the phone can focus on jailbreaking .

You follow these steps exactly in order and you will be jailbroken on ios12 Uncover on the very first attempt.

ios12 Uncover jailbreak for me has been very stable. I have even tested it to Enabling Jailbreak numerous times by restating the phone.

You are missing out on a very awesome hack update by busmanl30. Chams is worth it.

I have tried explaining the process in layman's term as I could.

@Jkay the problem is this hack doesn’t support Electra. I tried switching to uncover And it didn’t work. I want to say that my device is semibricked, or unjailbreakable now. I can jailbreak with Electra. I problems but Cydia still doesn’t work and spring board is always in safe mode. I believe that rolectra isn’t setup for my device yet because if I do full restore or not. When I click erase it just closes. So I looked at another option which involves using uncover to restore the rootfs and I reseted my phone completely. But when I rejailbreak, I still get the same problems. I don’t know what it is but I will try updating then downgrading back to the same firmware.

When tou say tried switching to Uncover dis you mean switching to ios12 uncover or ios11 uncover. Which one do u mean.

Hack is anyways not supported on ios11 Uncover.
