I tried the permanent unit expansion. It showes some japanese words and then the game crash. The inventory slots do not increase or item slots, and the gem will not be used due to the crash.

I had The same experience on a 64-bit device using the deb and the binary. I was attempting this on the unit expansion, going into the game and grabbing my current Max, exiting the game and going back to the settings and inserting the max unit count into the requested area, turning on the cheat, launching the game, and then purchasing a unit expansion. After this I received a notification box with some Japanese words, and then the game force closed.

@Kevv Hey man, can you help me? I tried all the instructions given but still the game crashes when you defeat a boss... I really cannot use item injection if I cannot kill the boss in the regular quests...

 

Edit: just saw your remark on the settings menu, is the posted binary on the first page only for 64-bit devices? Do you have one for 32-bit? TIA!

The binary is 32 bit, don’t want to figure out the 64 bit stuff so just sticking to the old binary. Could it be the item you’re injecting?

Try turning off debug menu and only enable item injection. It worked for me that way.
