How to make iOSGods hack target a custom app?

Hi there! First of all, thanks for the amazing hacks in here!

Alright then... this is my drama: I have installed PUBG Mobile from Happy Chick Emulator and it's a customized PUBG Mobile app to run with their controllers and docks, but they are just the same game. Even Tencent can't identify this custom app as an emulator or illegal app.

It is installed as a duplicated app, since I have both PUBG Mobile apps in my iPhone. One is the original from the App Store and the other is from the Happy Chick Emulator app store.

How can I make the IOSGods hack target the custom app?

I have jailbreak Electra 1.0.3 jailbreak on a iPhone 8 Plus 11.4 Beta 3. I have Filza installed too.

Does the hack target the app from the BundleId? If I change the values from iTunesMetadata.plist or .com.apple.mobile_container_manager.metadata.plist work? If yes, what are the values the hacks are targeting to identify the app? If this isn't the case, is there another way to achieve that?

@DiDA @Joka Can you guys help, please?

Thanks in advance!

So, I've renamed the softwareVersionBundleId from the original app to something else and used the original BundleId in the custom App, in both plist files, saved and did a respring. Didn't work. I was looking at the Cydia folder and the IOSGods file of the PUBG Mobile and there is a filter set to com.tencent.ig, so I thought it would work, but no luck.

You need to change the hack’s .plist bundle ID to the custom app’s bundle ID.

Nice. So it's the other way around, lol.

Ok, so I've managed to make the hack stop targeting the original app, but it's not loading on the custom app. Maybe their custom development is making iOSGods' hack to crash or bug out? They do have a floating icon on their own where you can access their menu to load their key mapping (which triggers some overlays on the game). I'm just guessing, though. Is there a way to force the hack to load somehow?

Are you entering the correct bundle ID of the custom app?

Yes. But this is what I've made:

- Opened Filza;
- Went to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/
- I've opened and modified the PUBGMOBILEiOSGodsCom.plist file and changed the value of the Item 0 to the app's Bundle ID. In this case, it is com.lancheng.AppCJZCE0723

IF by any chances you want to see this custom app, you have to install the Happy Chick Emulator app from GameSir. Here is the link to get it: https://gamesir.hk/pages/happy-chick-emulator or you can open this link directly from iOS: http://ssl.xiaoji001.com/m/happy.php

After you download their app, you can search for their PUBG Mobile app and download and install it.

Before you ask me why all this trouble, I'm going to explain: it's because I bought their GameSir X1 BattleDock (https://gamesir.hk/collections/fps-battle-royale-games/products/gamesir-x1-silver) to play PUBG Mobile with keyboard and mouse on iOS. It works great! But then, I thought... well, there must be a way to make the iOSGods hack to work on this custom app! This is why I've opened this support thread. ?

HELP ME, SENPAI!!! ?

I have pubg from similar emulator, it’s from handjoy and this might sound too easy to work but, what if I delete the original PUBG? Will that force the IOSGods hack to target it? I will try DiDAs method if that doesn’t work out. I just wanted to know if it’ll work before I tried it out ?

I've deleted the original app already. Didn't work in my case.

But try for your custom app and please share the results. Thanks for supporting my support thread, lol.

Ok, so I've uninstalled both apps, iOS Gods PUBG Mobile hack, ran iCleaner and did a respring.

- I've installed just the custom app, didn't open it;
- I've installed the iOS Gods PUBG Mobile hack;
- Opened Filza and modified the Bundle ID from the plist file hack;
- Done a respring;
- Opened the custom app...

DIDN'T WORK! ??

So yeah, I think something is maybe conflicting, so unless there is another way to force the hack to load in this custom app, my only hope is that @DiDA or someone else would possibly take a better look at this. ?

You can use ondeviceconsole or any other system log viewers to see what is being injected into the app.
