Also I obviously can't download the Update from the gamestore as the modded version is already installed. Playing on iPhone 6s, ios 12.1. 
Tried downloading the new version, but it seems to be the same that I downloaded yesterday and that worked up until this morning. 
Any advice?

At first I didn't. After the Update prevented me from getting into the game I tried downloading the official version. That version works but disables the mod obviously. Tried reinstalling the mod too but it still asked me to update the version.
