    JUST TO OPEN UP THE DEVICE. SO I CAN USE IT W/O ANY CARRIERS JUST WIFI. THANKS FOR RESPONSE.  (y)

    You'll need to insert the requested SIM card to be able to do that. :)

    I KNOW BUT IM NOT A SPRINT CUSTOMER THATS WHY I CANT GET A SIM CARD... THEY SAY U CAN BYPASS IT BUT IDK HOW..  :wallbash:  I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO IT BUT SEEMS NO LUCK FOR ME...  :wallbash:  :wallbash:  :wallbash:  :wallbash:

    There was a way to bypass it on iOS 7 but not sure if it's still applicable on iOS 8. You can't fully get past the setup screen without activating your iPhone with a sim card.
