Thanks for updating the mod hack. After some thorough testing, it seems the hack is just client based.

When connected to Facebook to sync progress across devices, once the coins are changed to 65k, sync will be lost. Progress in the star tournament will remain the same too. Even though progress is made in game, number of stars remains the same.

Maybe the values of the coins and power ups can be altered in the star chest instead, just an idea.
