Help/Support iOS 11 Electra Jailbreak Cydia Error

I have installed the electra jailbreak for ios 11 as everything were working fine.

I believe that I have installed a tweak which made the phone freeze, I had to reboot my device by holding the home button and the volume up as it restarted.

Now when i launch cydia it gives me this error:

"

Method /usr/lib/methods/https did not restart correctly

And now I cannot search anything on cydia nor check my installed tweaks.

Download https://github.com/ElectraJailbreak/electratools/blob/gh-pages/debs/apt/apt7-lib_0.7.25.3-15_iphoneos-arm.deb?raw=true
Copy that file to your device via SSH/SFTP (You can use programs such as Cyberduck, WinSCP, etc).
SSH into your phone as root (Using a program like Putty or OpenSSH).
Go into the directory where you copied that deb file to.
Run dpkg -i apt7-lib_0.7.25.3-15_iphoneos-arm.deb
Fixed.

Do not update APT next time Cydia runs otherwise it will break again!

Is there any guides for the process above like a video on something? I can pretty sure say that I did not really understand what to do from what you said as this is the first time I jailbreak my phone and i am not familiar with these things?

Or if you can explain what said in a simple way for me to actually know what to do.

Guys, I’m having the same problem, Cydia worked fine then I just got this message, now cydia doesn’t work, can you pls make a tutorial on how to fix it

It’s easy:)

download winscp

download deb file from above

Connect iPhone via Winscp: write IP from WiFi, port 20, login: root, password alpine.

In the opened ftp insert deb file

Open Commands/Run

write dpkg -i apt7-lib_0.7.25.3-15_iphoneos-arm.deb

profit!

cant do video tutorial cause I don’t wanna go through it again. Search on reddit, maybe someone already did it

Thanks dude, this fixed my problem! This applies to any package from the Cydia repo right? As they are not updated for Electra so it will break things?

I need help using WinSCP never used it before and having the same error method https can someone please tell me if I need to use encryption or what settings to type in ???????????
