Help/Support Game hacking and stuff

Ok, you guys may think this is a stupid question(s) but I'm not the brightest and need to know.

How do I get a binary? I already read the tutorial on how to load it, I just don't know how to get it.

Following shmoos topic https://iosgods.com/topic/4295-tutorial-how-to-hack-with-mshook-new-way/ it says to copy the template to tweak.xm

where do I find that? And is it a download?

What is a makefile?

and why do I need clutch? Will I need it or is it optional?

If you download & use Clutch, it'll crack the binary & it'll save it somewhere. It should say where's it's been saved. A binary file is what the game uses, has everything stored in it. Every other file in an IPA could be app icons, images in the game etc.

Ok cool, cool. How would I go about finding the binary?

You can't just grab it out of a game, it needs to be cracked. That way you can find functions in IDA.

So you can either use Clutch or Rasticrac from Cydia. Clutch is used to just get the binary file whilst Rasticrac is used to get the cracked binary as well as the whole IPA (useful if you wanna make a Non-JB hack).
