Help/Support Auto lipo Help! Post-installation returned error exit 2

Hi im following this guide at http://iosgods.com/topic/5569-auto-lipo-arm64-armv7-fat-binary-tool/

i can make the deb using dpkg command but when i try to install i get this error

this only happens when i include the postinst file.

Can anyone help me please.

I think this error is caused because of the encoding of the postinst script.

Where did you create the file? Can you try creating it via iFile/Filza and edit it with those without moving to PC?

Thanks! it works now, i was copying the postinst and control file from computer! when i created the control and postints via iFile, now it's working

I had the same issue you had because I hate editing files on iPad so I usually do that on PC but sometimes that can be a bad thing.

Oh, and btw, rename the lipo to anything else and change the postinst file accordingly because the preinst file doesn't seem to remove the lipo from other hacks.
