Help/Support Asphalt 8 : Airborne v3.0.0 [APK MOD] [HELP ME OUT PLEASE]

Ok, so basically I'm very very used to and basically familiar to Apple products only but still tried to give Android a try (because of how basically free you are, unline Apple, your device is still theirs if y'all know what I mean).

 

So here's the thing, my first hack (not mine but the first I tried as a new Android user) filled my device with a CRAP LOAD of ads and sudden popups (and I'm talking about Popups and ads outside of the browser)... I can be using my device normally when suddenly my browser will open up and load a lot of ads at once... also, my device becomes considerably SLOW.

 

I am pretty sure the APK MOD for this Asphalt hack is the culprit because it didn't happen before installing this mod.

So my guess is MAYBE I missed a step... So as a new Android user, can somebody help me out?

 

(PS : What I did was install the APK but not the data with it (still extracted it tho), and the hack still worked so maybe this is the reason of this all? Somebody light me up please) [Below you'll see the link from where I downloaded the mod if this can help]

Perhaps check your installed apps?

From the system settings.

Did that, but I'm pretty sure it must be the mod, no? Because it started happening after I opened up and used this specific Asphalt app aka mod... Tried to uninstall it to see a change, but none. So I was left with no other choice but to factory reset my device.
