Help/Support How to make ipa files?

I had downloaded an app from app store, and now I want to make a duplicate on the app itself. Anyone know how to extract it out from 7zip? I mean, where to find the app and extract it using computer?

use imazing https://imazing.com/, extract the file to your desktop by dragging it, then open the imazing file with 7zip>open archive once its been extracted make sure its packaged as so

appname > Payload > appname.app > the files, drag to desktop

if so go into info.plist and look for the Bundle identifier and change it so for example

 

change the bundleidentifier put a number at the end or something then save

right click on the file from desktop 7zip add to archive call appname.ipa

then make it once done install via impactor

Okay, I am trying right now.
So after installed Imazing, I open it up, connect my device on it. Then open Apps, and click on the app I want to extract it and extract it to desktop.
Once finish extract, open it up using 7zip archive and then Click into info.pl and look for BundleId, and change it to others name right?

yep, just add a number at the end anything.. that classes it as a different app from the other one

Right now Imazing need to backup my phone before it can extract.. Takes time

Can I ask, Its been 40mins + and still in archiving backup. Is it normal?

Simple.

1. Create .txt file in Notepad
2. Close notepad
3. Rename the .txt to .ipa
4. Done.
