Hello, I've recently bought an iPod Touch (5th gen.) for very cheap and the owner told me it was in pristine condition and that he only did a factory reset.

I turned on the phone and it has an Activation lock on it. The previous owner won't reply to any messages.

Are there any permanent solutions for this? I've seen some iCloud unlocking websites and some reviews around them and I'm willing to try them if they're actually selling the service they're advertising.  I've also seen a method where you take apart the phone and take out something black inside which apparently stores all the iCloud information or smth like that.

Need help ASAP.
Thanks in advance to everyone that actually takes time to respond.
