Good news is that it didn't crash for me.

However, this hack ONLY works if it's your turn at the start of the duel. I just tested this out when it was the other person's turn and each time I lost.

nope, its a mod menu just make sure you turn it on , on ur turn etc

That's what I did. But what happens is that I automatically lose.

Is there a specific moment during my turn that I need to turn the hack on?

I haven't fully tested when the battle starts and its your turn, turn on the hack the match should finish on the second turn. I've played several matches and no problems.
