The Binary link on the first post has been fixed. Use that on devices that came after iPhone 5s+.

Error code 256 means the deb is corrupted. Re-download it.

If your app is crashing, set permissions to 777. Search the forum.

I downloaded the new binary, installed it, checked and confirmed that my permissions were already set to 777 on both the PVZ2 folder and the PVZ2.app folders and still crashing after respringing. Any more suggestions? Should I uninstall and reinstall the app? It seems to save your progress somewhere in a cloud because I couldn't find my pp.dat file but it pulled up my save.

Reinstall and retry. Apply the binary before the .deb hack to see if it works without the hack first.
