Help/Support Why are Enemy-Ally attacks linked?

Hi all. In games like Monster Super League, they 1-Hit KO is linked with the enemy attacks as well. I've seen this is other games too. 1. Why does that happen? ] 2. What's the difficulty in unlinking them so that the enemy does regular damage to your team, but you still get to do the massive damage?
