If you previously signed up to iOSGods using your Facebook or Twitter (or others) account but you no longer have access to those accounts then you are not able to login to iOSGods anymore. In this topic I will be showing you how you can convert your account so you can login with your Display Name & Password instead of social logins.

TIP This is also useful for iOSGods Authenticator logins. You can skip the social login process and login with your Display Name & Password. Especially since Google+ logins do not work with iOSGods Authenticator.

 

Instructions

1. First of all, make sure your forum email is up to date. It's usually the same email that can be found in your social account.
2. Next, open an Incognito tab on your browser and visit: iOSGods Login
3. Without entering any login details, click on the 'Forgot your password?' button.
4. You will now be asked for your account's email address. Your iOSGods account. Contact DiDA if you do not have access to your email anymore.
5. Now open your email and you will see a new email from iOSGods. Click on it and read the email and follow the instructions.
6. After clicking the 'Reset my password' button, you will be sent back to iOSGods where you can set a new password for your account.
7. Once your new password is set, you will be automatically logged in to your local account without using any social logins!
8. Now you can log out and log back in using your Display Name on iOSGods and your newly set password.

That's it! You have now converted your iOSGods account to a local one!

You can still continue using Facebook/Twitter/Google+ to login. This will simply add a new way that you can login without using any of the social sign in options.
