Alerts
MySafeTravel features an alert section from where you can see the latest alerts from countries that you choose to follow. You can also choose to see all alerts ticking in from around the world.
It’s free to see the alert headlines and the severity of the alert. Through In-App Purchase you can unlock the full alert which includes relevant advice. Unlocked alerts will be received as push notifications for the period in which they were paid.

Country Reports
From the app’s countries list you can access country reports which gives you the full security overview of a specific country. Country reports are divided into subjects like crime, health risks and personal safety and they can be accessed through In-App Purchase. A short summary of any country report can be read for free.

Trips
When you are travelling to one or several countries you can create a trip in the MySafeTravel app. This ensures that you receive alerts concerning the countries you are going to and that you have access to the country reports. Trip alerts are received as push notifications as soon as they are confirmed and published. When you have created a trip you will also receive useful country-specific tips and advice while you’re traveling. The tips are received as a push notification, which can be clicked on to open the app and the advice read.
The price of creating a trip in MySafeTravel depends on the number of days you’re travelling and whether you want both alerts and country reports. You can always see the full price of the trip before you confirm the purchase.

Vault
The vault can store photos of your important documents or items. Vault items are stored locally on your device using strong encryption and cannot be accessed when your device is locked. To keep them safe, make sure you have a Passcode on your device.

Profile
From the profile tab, you can edit your profile and also sign out of the app. The profile is used to identify you to the MySafeTravel service and make sure you get the tailor-made services for which you have paid.
