AudioPoker trainiert die Konzentrationsfähigkeit und die Spielintelligenz beim Texas Hold'em.
Man sieht oft Spieler in einer Runde wiederholt ihre Karten ansehen, obwohl es nur zwei sind, die man sich doch eigentlich einfach merken können sollte. Doch das Gehirn des Pokerspielers steht unter Dauerstrom. Im Kopf werden alle Blätter der Gegner gemutmaßt, die Kombinationen des eigenen Blatts mit den kommenden Community-Karten verglichen und der angemessene Chip-Einsatz berechnet.

AudioPoker 1 trainiert diese wichtige Arbeit auf folgende Weise: Die Sprecherin liest nur die 2 Kartenwerte von 2 virtuellen Spielern vor und nachfolgend den Flop, die Turn- und die River-Karte. Der Hörer muss sich alle Werte merken und hat dann eine Minute Zeit, das Gewinnerblatt samt Spieler herauszufinden. Nach dem Countdown der letzten 10 Sekunden gibt sie dann das Ergebnis bekannt.

AudioPoker 1 bietet 10 Runden der einfachsten Kategorie mit 2 virtuellen Spielern. In AudioPoker 2 sind dann drei virtuelle Spieler zu berücksichtigen. Bei AudioPoker 3 sind es schließlich vier Spieler.

Wer auf dem höchsten Niveau pokern möchte, sollte diese App als Trainings-Ergänzung nutzen. Sie führt zu mehr Gedächtnisleistung beim nächsten Pokerspiel.

Man kann dieses Spiel auch in der Gruppe spielen. Gewinner der Runde ist, wer den richtigen Gewinner plus Gewinnkonstellation auf einen Zettel geschrieben hat.

Die Spielanleitung wird auf dem Start-Screen durch Betätigen des Playbuttons von der Sprecherin vorgestellt.
