Hello everyone,

 

I'm having a little trouble trying to apply a signature for myself after following instructions from a previous help topic on this I found, (http://iosgods.com/topic/4719-help-how-to-put-gif-in-my-signature/). After entering what one user suggested I received a "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" message. I'm not sure what went wrong but this has happened a few times so I thought I'd see if anyone might know what I need to do to make it work out, I'd appreciate any and all help on this.

Check your image URL, it must end with one of these extensions:

 

gif,jpeg,jpg,png,bmp,ico

 

If it doesn't, it will generate that error.

Ok cool. So all I have to do is put that link in my signature and click save? I was adding the other stuff with it from that other help topic.

Just add the image link inside the tags and nothing else. You can add extra text under the image like this:

If you paste the above in your signature it would appear like this:
