Help/Support Cydia error: the package needs to be reinstalled

Install it manually via iFile or place it in /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall and reboot.

You should be able to download it via Safari and open in iFile to install

It installed to /var/mobile/Documents when I downloaded it.

Afterwards, I rebooted, and I still get the message. Did I do something wrong?

Should I move the file to a different folder?

You didn't install it. You just downloaded the file.

Navigate to /var/mobile/Documents via iFile and tap on the .deb file then press on 'Installer' from the popup.

Then reboot.

You said you were new to this. Are you sure you're doing it right?

Yes I'm pretty sure I did it right. I tapped the deb download and I opened it in iFile, and afterwards I tapped the installer and pressed done when it finished. Then I rebooted and went back to Cydia, yet the message is still there.
