I noticed the original hack works if you are using a partial jailbroken device where the jailbreak is inactive after booting.  The makes believe that the app is  checking to see if the device is jailbroken.  There are some jailbreak bool values but those don't seem to help.  I have also tried some apps from cydia to hide the jailbreak, but none have been successful.
