PuTTY Fatal Error: Server Unexpectedly Closed Network Connection iOS - iPhone

I attach an app to GDB then after a while when it says reading symbols for shared libraries, putty loses the connection. WTF? Putty says server unexpectedly closed network connection. I look and my app is still running and is fine. I am on an iPod 5g iOS 8.1.2. I tried from my Laptop and same thing. I have the latest version of putty.

When you get that error, it means the connection between your PC and iDevice was closed. Doesn't have to do with the app.

I've seen a few with this error, not really sure why it happens. Could be your Wi-Fi or maybe OpenSSH?

Can you try re-installing OpenSSH?

Re-install it again and you might go further this time :p

Have you tried another Terminal? Like KiTTY?

How about WinSCP or CyberDuck? Can you connect with those?

Can you guys also check your logs to see if it tells you something about it?

/var/log/

/var/logs/

Also, try a different port.

If you still get nothing, try setting the "Seconds between keepalives" option to 10 or more:

If that still doesn't work, mess around with PuTTY's settings in the Connection tab. :3

its weird... if i run igg and get the value and then attach gdb it crashes..but as soon as i open an app and attach gdb it seems to be working fine...and also when i set a watchpoint then continue, the app is still frozen

 Did you fix your "Server unexpectedly closed connection" error?

You can always use iFunBox's SSH Terminal or USB Tunnel. :/
