Help/Support don't underline text on Samsung keyboard

When enabling predictive text on my galaxy s5, words show up as underlined until they are fully typed/when pressing spacebar. How to disable word underlining completely? Thank you.

Is that an issue? It sounds like a feature to me.

 

Use Google Keyboard, it's better.

1. On your device go to settings
2. Look for Language and keyboard
3. Tap on Touch input
4. Then tap Text Input
5. Then select predictions
6. Unchecked Predictions and the automatic underline will be removed.

I think he wants predictions but not the underlining part. Not sure if Samsungs keyboard can do that which is why another keyboard is suggested.

Yeah not possible. I have a galaxy s5, the underline is part of the prediciton function

Throw your galaxy on the floor on concrete as hard as you can, or smash it with a hammer. Then buy a iPhone

Well I tried and failed to configure googlr keyboard. It wouldnt show up on the list of keyboards to set as default. Any idea?!

Give me some goodreasons to do so...

Go to Settings -> Language & Input -> Current Keyboard -> Google Keyboard

I have... but it shows on the list of keyboards but not on the list of keyboards to set as default. .. Updated February 25, 2015 by Tony TCG
