Help/Support LLDB: Failed to get reply to handshake packet

Hello guys,

 

Today I wanted to try out lldb (I'm on windows), but I'm struggling with the last part of DiDa's tutorial.

I set everything up:

 - First I gave debugserver 6755 permissions using chmod

 - Then I SSH'd into my device, and executed 'debugserver 127.0.0.1:23 --attach=(binaryname)'

 - Since I am on Windows 10, I used iFunbox to open the port (image )

 - Then I opened the lldb console and entered 'process connect connect://127.0.0.1:23

 

but that gives the error 'error: failed to get reply to handshake packet'

 

When I try it with my iPhone's local IP lldb just crashes.

I already tried another port, reboot, rejailbreak and searched the forum for answers but none worked for me.

 

Can anyone here help me?

I've tried everything, should I just try the other methods of hacking (altough I'm not very good at those)

I've already tried using GDB but whenever I set a watchpoint and the value changes, it doesn't freeze and give the old/new values etc.

Rofl, I made it work by getting a Mac OS X Virtual Machine and installing LLDB there

I am having the same issues as thhis poster

I am running 10.1.1 with yalu JB

You have problems with LLDB.... You need to fix LLDB first, on windows 64bit. also make sure you are running "lldb.cmd" when starting LLDB...

You need to have this two windows on LLDB, that means that LLDB is working FINE... f there is just one lldb window opened, than you LLDB is not working good...
