DIY Hack Final Fantasy IX - Hack items/gils/levels/etc. (possible any item x99)

Hello everybody,

 

First warning, I'm french, so my english writing would probably get some error. Get over it.

 

 

After having enjoying few hacks from the awesome community, it's more than time that I also contribute !

 

I warn you, I don't have the skills of many here, so it won't be the best method to do it probably but whatever, it's working. If you have tips to go faster, feel free to share it

 

So, I choose the game FFIX because I'm simply playing it at the moment. The thing I wanted to do was to get the ultimate weapons but without doing the chocobo adventures which are f**kin' boring.

 

 

So here are few exemples of what you can do, and what do you need to do so.

 

What you can hack :

 

- gils (the easiest)

- Items and amount of them (armors/weapons/goods), in this exemple : Excalibur II x57

- levels of each characters

- mp/hp (which are not really important as the hack already exist in the game...)

- maybe more...

That's end my tutorial. I can help you for other thing if you need. I made it pretty complete because I thought of the novice I was weeks ago who would have killed to get a similar thing

 

You have to know that this technique is possible for almost every single player game which are not online or server based !
