No, I said to mod the first offset, of the function. The codes I gave you the are the ones you're going to use to mod the function.

writeData(0xOFFSET, 0xNEWHEX);turns intowriteData(0x123456, 0x381C7047);

How'd I do that?

change "PUSH {R7, LR}" to "MOV R0, R7"

and then change "MOV R7, SP" to "BX LR" and you should be good.
